This session is designed to highlight the importance of civic engagement and deepen participants’ understanding through an interactive panel conversation. Attendees will explore what inspires individuals to step into leadership and civic involvement, and gain insight into how community members can become local leaders and take meaningful action on issues affecting Hispanic communities.

This interactive workshop provides a plain-language introduction to calls to action and how civic decisions are shaped, followed by a collaborative activity that helps participants generate and refine action ideas. The session is designed to help participants understand civic engagement and identify a personal roadmap for Involvement in local and national issues impacting Hispanic communities.
